Leadership updates at King's

July 1, 2026.

Dr. Laura Melnyk-Gribble has been appointed Interim Associate Academic Dean. Dr. Melnyk-Gribble brings extensive academic leadership experience to the role, having previously served King’s as Associate Academic Dean from 2019 to 2022, as well as Chair of the Department of Psychology. She is a respected advocate for King’s academic mission and brings a deep understanding of academic programs, policies and governance structures.

Dr. Graham Broad has been appointed Interim Associate Dean of Research. Dr. Broad is King’s Research Excellence Chair, 2025–2028, and is recognized for his research contributions, outstanding teaching and service to our campus community. He has served King’s on many committees, including as Chair of the Research Grants Committee from 2019 to 2023, and currently serves as Chair of the Department of History.
