DescriptionThis course examines the historical development and philosophical foundations of human rights, and the efficacy of legal, diplomatic and political frameworks designed to protect human rights. Topics include women's rights; the rights of minorities; refugees and displaced persons; remedies for human rights violations in domestic and international law.
