The discipline of Psychology spans perhaps the broadest range of any academic discipline. Psychologists can be involved in examining brain processes, animal behaviour, human sexuality, language acquisition, cognitive processes and learning, creativity, consciousness, interpersonal relationships and psychological problems.
Explore the mysteries of the human mind. In King’s Psychology program, you’ll study the psychological, biological, and social bases of how we think, feel, and behave, and use this knowledge to understand and solve problems in the real world. You’ll gain insight into yourself and others, and develop a deeper insight into why we behave the way we do. You can investigate a wide range of areas: addictions, child development, counselling, consciousness, creativity, diversity, education, law, thinking and perceiving, mental health, personality, psychological disorders, religion, sexuality, social issues, work and organizations. Your education in Psychology can take you many places – into health, education, law, business, science or research, where understanding human behaviour makes a real difference.
Expand your options with a double major or augment your education with courses in American Sign Language (ASL). King's is Western's exclusive home for ASL.

What People Are Saying
Being a student at King's means you are a part of a community that is extremely tight-knit and you have unlimited opportunities to create the next four years of university an experience to remember. You get to be yourself at King's, not just a number. You can walk through campus and you almost always see a familiar face. I think students really love the feeling of community at King's, it makes you feel a part of something special.
King's provided me with a robust undergraduate education, which encouraged critical thinking, research, and interpersonal skills. Dr. Chovaz continues to inspire me in my current educational endeavours
In addition to the typical university essay, students are offered the opportunity to demonstrate their learning through multimedia assignments, presentations, group work, research projects, and so on, which keeps things interesting and fun.
During my studies at King's University College, I developed foundational research and clinical skills which have shaped my growth as a student and an emerging professional. The collaborative and experiential nature of a King's University College education, paired with excellent faculty and on-campus supports, prepared me for graduate school. As a 3rd year Ph.D. student in the School and Applied Child Psychology program at Western, University, my research with the Centre for School Mental Health focuses on how dating violence impacts vulnerable populations, such as youth whose identities meet at the margins. I am incredibly grateful for my undergraduate experience at King's University College and will continue applying what I learned to support my work.
