Adrienne E. Sauder, PhD, has a doctorate in educational psychology and special education from Western University. She teaches several courses at King’s in the department of Thanatology, including Research Methods in Thanatology, Introduction to Thanatology, and Bereavement & Grief. Dr. Sauder also teaches at Queen’s University in the Professional Master’s of Education program.
Dr. Sauder is an expert in qualitative research who specializes in phenomenology and arts-based inquiry approaches. Her current research interests focus on university students’ lives, particularly their experiences with academic transitions, learning, procrastination, and failure and how those experiences intersect with grief and loss.
