The Leadership Exchange
An evening of stories, connections and possibilities.
You have been personally recommended by a King's faculty or staff member to take part in this invite-only evening with members of the King's Alumni Women's Leadership CIRCLE.
The Leadership Exchange: Sharing Stories. Building Futures. is designed to help you connect with women leaders, hear honest career stories, ask questions and explore what's possible for your own future.
You'll have the opportunity to meet approximately 20 King’s alumnae who have built careers across a wide range of fields, including finance, law, non-profit leadership, entrepreneurship and more.
The evening will feature "My Career Didn’t Go According to Plan," an honest panel conversation about unexpected turns, career changes, challenges, opportunities and the paths that don't always look the way we imagined.
You'll have plenty of time to connect, ask questions and get to know other students and alumnae in a welcoming, low-pressure environment.
Heavy appetizers and refreshments will be served.
Registration is required by September 16.
A few things to know
You don't need to know anyone.
Students from across King's have been invited, and you may not know the other students or alumni attending. That's completely okay. We've designed the evening to be welcoming, comfortable and low-pressure, with opportunities to meet people and guided conversation along the way.
Come as you are.
Casual to business casual attire is welcome. There is no need to dress formally.
This is just the beginning.
Following the event, participating students will have the opportunity to be matched with a CIRCLE alumna for a couple of informal mentor touchpoints during the school year. We also anticipate another student-alumni gathering in the spring.
How can I prepare?
In advance of the event, we will share a list of the alumnae attending, along with pointers for getting the most out of the evening. There aren't any heavy preparation requirements, we just want you to feel comfortable, prepared and confident when you arrive.
