The King's Alumni Women's Leadership Circle will bring together alumnae in leadership roles for meaningful connection, peer learning, and shared impact through mentorship opportunities and collective giving in support of outstanding female students.

Founding Members

Erika Oakes, BA'07
Erika Oakes, BA'07 (English)
Erika began her career as a secondary school teacher before transitioning into entrepreneurship. She went on to found and scale a sustainably focused retail brand, which she successfully sold in 2024. Today, Erika is a Senior Project Manager at TechAlliance, where she leads strategic programming that supports startups and scale-ups across Southwestern Ontario. Erika is especially passionate about building community and championing female entrepreneurs.

Tabitha Wills, BA'09
Tabitha Wills, BA'09 (English)
Tabitha is a former Co-Head Soph with a continued commitment to leadership and community building. She currently works as a Product Manager in health technology, focused on creating tools that empower health practitioners and improve client outcomes. After time away, she returned to London three years ago and proudly calls it home.

Jackie Foo, BA'91
Jackie Foo, BA'91 (Sociology)
Jackie is a people-first executive leader with over 25 years of experience building and scaling organizations across telecom, retail, and financial services. While she has led national teams and large operational transformations, Jackie is best known for her commitment to mentoring, advancing women, and building inclusive, high-trust cultures.

Helen Smith, BA'12
Helen Smith, BA'12 (Psychology & Sociology)
Helen is the Founder and CEO of Roo & You, a Canadian children’s furniture brand she founded in 2020 and has grown into an eight-figure brand. Helen began her career working with children and families before transitioning into entrepreneurship. Helen is passionate about building values-led businesses, supporting women in business, and creating opportunities for the next generation of leaders through mentorship.

A small group of King’s alumnae have already committed to participate as Founding Members, and we are now inviting additional alumnae with the intention of forming an inaugural cohort of approximately 20 Founding Members.

Founding Members will:

  • Help define the group’s culture and programming
  • Make a modest financial contribution, pooled in support of female student scholarships or similar initiatives 
  • Build trusted relationships within an accomplished peer network

Founding Members will also be recognized as part of the inaugural cohort and featured during the public launch of this community.
