The Mentor Program connects alumni with students and recent graduates who are interested in career exploration. Whether you're entering the workforce or looking for insight on a career transition, this service provides an opportunity to connect with alumni who are established in their field.
The Alumni and Development office maintains a list of mentors and will determine a mentorship match based upon your career interests. Once a match is determined, you will receive contact information so you can arrange a meeting. The program is informal and can range from one virtual or in-person meeting to an ongoing conversation over time. Students and recent graduates who are interested in mentorship should complete the online form.
Open to King's alumni within three years of convocation who are unemployed or underemployed, this four-week, fully remote program helps recent graduates build practical experience, strengthen their career focus, and gain insight into today's job market.
Through guided labour market research and conversations with employers, participants will develop a Career Market Intelligence Project that can be used in job applications, interviews and professional portfolios. Participants will also present their work to the King's Career Services team and may receive a reference upon successful completion.
