You'll journey through the rich landscape of English literature from all of the major historical periods of English from medieval through contemporary and including Canadian, British, American, and Postcolonial. You will explore literature with courses in literary theory, drama, popular literature, film, children's literature, creative writing, and more.

By immersing yourself in these courses, you’ll develop strong skills in analysis, writing, and public speaking. You will be prepared for a variety of professions including careers in education, publishing, law, marketing, media and communications, public relations, business, and industry.
