King's supports internationalization and intercultural learning. With King’s International Exchange Program, you can study internationally for one term or a full year, while earning credits towards your degree. You’ll pay your regular tuition, not international fees, and may also be eligible for the International Study Award, which can grant you $1000/semester abroad.
Studying abroad will benefit you academically, professionally and personally. We usually recommend your third year for an international exchange, and you'll receive pre-departure training with a member of the King's International staff.
King’s has exchange agreements with international partner universities in nearly 30 countries. Where do you want to go?
As a King's student, you also have access to exchange programs and international opportunities offered through Western.
"If you are looking for a life-changing experience, going on exchange is for you!The year I spent studying in France helped me improve my French skills, travel across Europe, gain intercultural skills, expand my professional network, and explore career opportunities. In fact, the Lille exchange program was one of the primary factors that led me to choose King's.
"The people you meet and the memories you make will have an impact on you for years to come. Not to mention, living in the heart of Europe allowed me to seize every travel opportunity and enjoy delicious food!
"Aside from studying, I was hired as an English instructor and European Summer Program intern at the Université Catholique de Lille, which are invaluable opportunities for me as a future teacher. My experience has ignited in me a passion for international education that I will be exploring as a potential future career."

"I studied abroad in London, England, at the University of Roehampton. I had the best time in my year abroad and would recommend the experience to anyone! During my study abroad experience, I was able to travel to many different countries in Europe and meet friends from all over the world!
"Additionally, this experience increased my knowledge of the world and allowed me to take courses that were unique and interesting. I got to travel to over 14 cities in eight different countries around Europe. Studying abroad provided me with a vast knowledge of European and world history.
"Since returning from studying abroad, I have visited some of the American friends I made abroad and had two friends from France visit me in Canada. Studying abroad provided me with many skills that will be transferable for future jobs or education."
