Your gift to King's can open doors of opportunity and build a better future. Whether you choose to invest in student awards and support programs or infrastructure renewal – every gift matters. For a list of current funding priorities, visit Funding Priorities.
As a registered charity, King’s can issue official tax receipts that provide donors with tax deductions. The issuance of a tax receipt lowers the taxable income or tax payable. All eligible gifts will receive a tax receipt.
An expendable gift is fully available for expenditure by King's over time.
An endowed gift is a type of gift where the University, as trustee, receives money from the donor to hold and invest in perpetuity to generate income and an allocation for spending for use in support of a purpose or object of the endowment. An endowed gift may be governed by terms in a donation agreement.
Creating a named student award is a powerful way to support the next generation of leaders, innovators and ethical changemakers. Your gift helps students access education, achieve their potential and build a brighter future for themselves and their communities.
You can choose to support students in a program that’s meaningful to you, or work with us to establish a named award aligned to your values and goals.
To establish a named student award, a minimum of $5,000 is required for an expendable award, or $25,000 for an endowed award.
