Ayoub Yousefi earned his Ph.D. degree in Economics from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville in 1992. During his tenure he held the Ronald H. Wolf Excellence in Economics Scholarship for three consecutive years.

Dr. Yousefi’s research interests are in the areas of Exchange Rate, Balance of Payments, and Exchange Rate Pass-through. He has published papers in such journals as Health Economics, OPEC Review, Journal of Energy Economics, New Horizon, Survey of Business, Economics of Innovation and New Technology, and Journal of International Business and Economics.
