Make the most of your education with academic supports to help you develop skills and strategies for success.

You’re coming to King’s to get a good education. Our supportive and knowledgeable academic advisors and counsellors will help you get the most from this education. They’ll help you find the best match between our programs and your goals, so you can build a good foundation for your career. During your time here, you’ll be well supported, with guidance on courses, schedules, degree requirements, academic issues, and the best ways to succeed and excel.
In the King's library, you can access more than 25 million books, including textbooks; over 800 databases of journals, archives, and newspapers; video and audio resources. You can also borrow or use other physical resources: sheet music, films, and a range of technology, including public computers. Need research assistance? You can also get one-on-one help from our subject librarians, who can answer your research questions, and to provide course, subject, or assignment-specific information literacy instruction and resources.
For textbooks (and more), visit the Dellelce Family Bookstore, in the lower level of Western's University Community Centre.

As a first-year King’s student, you’re automatically enroled in KAMP, the King's Academic Mentoring Program. KAMP is a peer-to-peer program developed and run by students, for students. This unique program pairs you with an upper-year student who can help you with your transition to post-secondary life, connect you to useful campus resources, and generally make your first year here easier. You’ll have access to your mentor for the entire academic year, and you can work together in person one-on-one or in a group setting, or electronically, whatever you prefer. Get support from someone who understands your questions, because they had the same ones.
Need a bit of help with your MEM courses? Besides the personalized support you’ll get from your professors, you can get assistance at the MEM Help Centre. The Centre is staffed by current King’s undergraduate students who are nominated to work in the Centre by one or more of their instructors, and have strong grades across several courses. They can help you with a wide range of courses, from Actuarial Science to Statistics.
You don’t need to make an appointment, just drop in for some no-cost tutoring!
