Visiting the Library
Welcome to the Cardinal Carter Library!
Our Spaces
Please see our library hours for our most up to date hours of opening.
The first floor is available for collaborative study, and the second floor is designated Silent Study space. Please refer to signage around the library for more information.
Washrooms are accessible on the first and second floors of the library.
The self-checkout is easily accessed in the front entrance by the stairs.
Food and Drink
Lidded beverages and snacks are welcome.
Study Space
Quiet or Silent Study seats are available throughout the library. Please do not move the furniture. Group and Individual study rooms are available to be booked on a first come, first serve basis. Printing, Scanning and Photocopying There are four copiers available on the main floor of the library, located beside the public computers. Funds can be added to your account at the service desk. Access to the second-floor stacks is available during hours of opening.
You can check books out at the service desk, or using the self check out.
The hold shelf is located in the front of the library, by the main staircase, beside the self check out machine.
Please return your books using the outside book drop or the book drop located at the service desk.
Material Requests
Requests for print material can be placed using Omni.
Digital delivery of portions of eligible library materials can also be requested in Omni.
Off Campus Access
We offer a broad range of online resources and support to our students, faculty, and staff, including digital delivery, online databases, e-books, and other digital materials that you can access off campus. Course Readings Student can access their Course Readings list online, and faculty can email reserves@kings.uwo.ca with any questions regarding course reading material. |
