Kim Pega, Bachelor of Arts- Honours Specialization in Sociology
"As a first generation student, King’s felt like a nurturing, encouraging and safe place for me to grow, not only as a student, but also as a young working professional.
As a student, I developed my ability to think critically and engage in discussions with my peers, professors and scholars. I was exposed to the quality education that my immigrant parents really valued, while also refining what I was passionate about. Working in the office of Enrolment Services as a work study student was a significant part of my King’s journey because it supported my growth as a young working professional… King’s allowed me the space to become and explore many different facets of myself and even supported me as I transitioned into my work now in holistic health and wellness."
