Congratulations on accepting your offer to King’s!
We’re excited to welcome you to King’s! We encourage you to participate in our free programming happening throughout the summer before your arrival. Whether you engage in just one or all these programs, our King’s team is here to help every step of the way in this new journey. Under this pillar, we hope that our program and supports help you to:
- Cultivate social connections based on program, interests, and social identity
- Identify King's supports and services and their purpose
- Learn important program related information as part of transition orientation
Programming:
King's Campus Connection
Join us for a morning, afternoon, or evening experience on campus to meet fellow first years, learn about King’s key services, and discover your individual strengths.
July 31 – August 14, 2024 (multiple dates and virtual sessions available)
Summer Academic Orientation (SAO)
Meet with someone from our Enrolment Services team to answer any questions about your program, register in your courses, and learn about the many resources available to support you.

Mature and Transfer Student Transition
This Transition to University workshop will include learning about expectations in the classroom, key resources, setting up your UWO email and OWL, and a tour of campus!

Virtual Parent and Supporter Session
Hosted by Joe Henry, King's Dean of Students, this session will equip parents and supporters with the information necessary to support a successful transition for their student at King’s.
