The Application Process
What's Next?
Once you have applied to King's, you'll receive an acknowledgement via email. Your King's/Western Student ID number will be at the top of your acknowledgement letter. Please follow the instructions in your acknowledgement letter to activate your King's/Western ID. Using this number, you will be able to log into the Western Student Center, where you can view the status of your application. Please note that the Student Center only lists the required documents needed for applications to Western’s Main Campus. Review your acknowledgement email sent by King’s to see which documents are outstanding and needed to complete your admission file. Send all documents to King's University College, 266 Epworth Ave., London, ON N6A 2M3.
Important notes about your application
If you are applying from an Ontario high school:
- Applicant Profile: You may choose to complete the Applicant Profile if you believe your admissions average will be 1-2% below the minimum King's requirement
- CST application is only for those applying to the Catholic Studies for Teachers program
- If you are interested in applying for the Foundations in the New Liberal Arts, make sure you applied to the Arts program (EKA) and indicate your "Subject of Interest" as Foundations in Humanities in order to be considered for this program
If you are applying from a college or university:
- You must provide official transcripts from all previous institutions attended, both secondary and post-secondary
- Submit full course descriptions from universities you have attended. This is required to assist us with evaluating course equivalencies
- You can order transcripts for Ontario universities and colleges can be ordered through the Ontario Universities Application Centre application
If you are applying from an out-of-province high school, including for International students following a national curriculum:
- You can self-report grades using the Self-Reported Grades for Non-Ontario Canadian Secondary School Students form
- If you are applying from an International Baccalaureate (IB), you can self report at Predicted International Baccalaureate (IB) Grades
If you are applying as a Mature Student, you will need to submit the following when you apply:
- Official transcripts from all previous institutions attended - secondary and post-secondary - if applicable
- A copy of your birth certificate
- A reference letter
- A letter of intent
If your first language is not English
English Language Proficiency scores may be required.
For ALL APPLICANTS
- We encourage you to review all of the scholarships offered by King’s and begin to prepare your applications. Note the application deadlines for specific scholarships – these are in their descriptions.
- Begin your OSAP application and apply for any other external awards or scholarships available to you.
- Attend an Open House or come on a campus tour! This is be the best way for you to see how welcoming and friendly the King’s campus is!
