Readmission & Appeals
Readmission
Students seeking readmission to King's must submit an application to the Ontario Universities Application Centre (OUAC). In addition to applying through OUAC, you must also do the following:
- complete a Formal Statement of Appeal
- provide transcripts from all academic institutions you attended after leaving King's
Apply as soon as possible – do not wait for the full 12 months you were required to suspend your studies at King's to pass before applying. We advise you to apply well in advance as program spaces fill.
If granted readmission, you can register for a session that starts no earlier than one calendar year (12 months) from the time of withdrawal.
Readmission is at the discretion of the Admissions Committee.
Appeals
Students who have applied to King's but been denied admission can also submit an Appeal Form to be considered by the Admissions Committee.
Ontario high school students who are concerned that they may not be academically qualified for admission may provide an Applicant Profile that gives you the opportunity to describe any extenuating circumstances that may have affected your grades, as well as outline extracurricular activities.
In determining admissibility, King’s reserves the right to take all submitted documentation into account including English Proficiency Tests, repeated courses and all other aspects of the your academic record. As well, if evidence of falsified documentation is found, King’s reserves the right to deny admission, withdraw an offer of admission or offer of scholarship, and/or cancel your course registration. Previous submission of falsified or fraudulent documentation may be considered in future applications made to the institution.
