Fall 2024 Celebration of Graduates
Wednesday, October 23, at 10 a.m.
Fall Convocation will take place on October 23, 2024 at 10:00 a.m. at Alumni Hall at Western University.
Following the Convocation ceremony, graduates and their guests are invited to a special alumni reception and light lunch at King's. The reception will take place in the Vitali Student Lounge, Wemple Hall starting at Noon.
We recommend that you arrive on Western's campus two hours before your ceremony so you have enough time to park, pick up your regalia and find your line-up location. King's graduates will line up in Alumni Hall room 15. You must be there no later than 8:45 a.m.
Parking & Transportation
Parking is available at Western University for the Convocation ceremony. Information is available here. Parking will be available at King’s, and shuttle buses will run on their regular schedule. Graduates and their guests are welcome to use the shuttle service. View the schedule here.
Regalia
Fall graduates can order their regalia until Wednesday October 16, 2023 at 11:59 p.m. You can pick it up on Convocation Day beginning at 7:30 a.m. Pick-up details will be in the email you received from the Office of the Registrar. You'll need your 1Card or government-issued ID to collect your regalia.
You must drop off your regalia at 6 p.m. on Convocation Day.
Tickets
Visit Western's Convocation tickets page to order your tickets for the ceremony. For those unable to attend in person, all ceremonies are recorded and available via live webcast online. Invite your family, friends, and supporters to watch and share in your special day!
Photos
Attending graduates will have their photos taken at Convocation, and Western will provide each graduate with a free 5x7" photograph commemorating the event. Students must pre-register on the GradImages Canada website where they select their ceremony date and time.
Degree Frames
Proudly honour your achievement by having your degree displayed and preserved in a beautiful frame custom-made in Canada for King's University College graduates.
Frames can be purchased online or on-site during the Convocation reception at King's.
