Outgoing Exchange
King’s University College is committed to internationalization and intercultural learning. King’s has exchange agreements with over 50 universities in 25 countries. Through King’s University College partnerships, students have studied in China, Japan, UK, France, Germany, South Korea, Brazil, Australia and other countries. Students can study for a term or an academic year while earning academic credits towards their degree and paying your tuition to King’s. They can also participate in summer programs. Studying abroad benefits students academically, professionally and personally.

Intercultural
Students have the opportunity to become more culturally sensitive and accepting through intercultural exposure. This is further strengthened by programs which offer students the opportunity to develop their foreign language skills.
Western International’s certificate program recognizes students’ global and intercultural experience in both academic and extracurricular activities at King's, Western, in the community, elsewhere in Canada, or in another country. Students accumulate points and attend an intercultural workshop. Once completed, the Honor will appear on your Official Academic Record and complement your Western degree with an added intercultural and global element. Learn more...
Eligibility
- All students must be registered as a full -time student while on exchange.
- Must have a minimum cumulative average of 70%
- Exchange is recommended in the third year of studies
- Students will be evaluated on the basis of their exchange application form, transcript, and Academic Counsellor’s reference.
- Students must complete a course approvals form prior to going on exchange
- Students must complete pre-departure training in person with King’s International staff (the session is held in March for students going on fall or full-year exchange and in October for those going on winter semester exchange) and online
