About Canadian Catholic Students' Association

The Canadian Catholic Students’ Association (CCSA) is a national association, founded in 1946, to unite Catholic students from campuses across Canada. We are a crucial link for established Catholic campus ministries and emerging Catholic communities. We represent Canada in the International Movement in Catholic Students (IMCS) – Pax Romana. Our core purpose is to unite students who witness to the Gospel on campus.

The Canadian Catholic Students Association and in conjunction with Canadian Catholic Campus Ministry, the Newman Centre of McGill University will be hosting the 2025 Canadian Catholic Students Association’s Biennial National Conference, which will be held in the City of One Hundred Steeples, Montréal, Québec, from Thursday, January 30 to Sunday, February 2, 2025. The theme for the upcoming conference: “‘Tutti, Tutti, Tutti’’ (“Everyone, Everyone, Everyone” – Pope Francis): Who is a Synodal Church?

Over the course of the conference, you will have the opportunity to learn about the Synod on Synodality from Synod Delegates, hear talks from experts about synodality and the future of the Church, visit and celebrate Mass at Canada’s largest Church, St. Joseph’s Oratory, and pray at the tomb of St. André Bessette, explore Montréal, and most importantly get to meet, pray, and socialize with other Catholic post-secondary students from across the country.  Information on registering for the conference will soon follow.
