Dr. Pez holds a Ph.D from the Department of English and Writing Studies at Western University, with a primary focus on medieval English literature. Dr. Pez’s thesis explores Geoffrey Chaucer’s uses of ekphrasis, or descriptions of visual art, in both his dream visions and Knight’s Tale as well as the influence of Chaucerian ekphrasis on the early fifteenth-century poetry of John Lydgate. While completing a B.A. at King’s, Dr. Pez was a tutor at The Write Place, and is now a Writing Consultant there. Dr. Pez loves collaborating with her colleagues to develop Writing curriculum that serves the needs of students in diverse disciplines at King's.
