World Homelessness Day Sock/Mitten Drive

The Community Fundraising Committee (CFC), KAMP, KUCSC, and Campus Ministry are co-hosting on Tuesday Oct 10 from 10AM to 2PM in SLC Garron Family Learning Lounge This event is open to entire King's community.

The event will include:

  • Sock and Mitten donation with a donating game and raffle for those donating.
  • When donating people have the option to throw their donation (i.e., sock or mitten) or they can use one of our bean bags into a corn hole game to win a raffle ticket for a gift basket (gift basket donated by KUCSC and campus ministry)
  • Sock/mitt donations will go to St. Joes Café to help keep people experiencing homelessness warm.  Any cash donations will go to the Health and Homelessness Fund for Change.
  • KAMP will be serving coffee/hot chocolate
