Second Annual From Turtle Island to Palestine Film Festival

Join us for the two-night Turtle Island to Palestine Film Festival.

Opening night, February 10
Join us for a screening of influential filmmaker, musician and activist Layla Staats' documentary Blood and Water: A Reclamation Story, followed by a Q&A with the director. This event will be opened by Elder Mary Lou Smoke, including a water song. After the question period, all guests are invited to participate in an interactive water activity that brings mindfulness and gratitude to our sacred relationship with water.

Closing night, February 12
Join us for a screening of three short films: Vibrations from Gaza, It's Bisan from Gaza I'm Still Alive, and It's Bisan from Gaza We Will Return to Our Homes, followed by a panel discussion with distinguished guests from the local community (to be announced soon). After the discussion, all guests are invited to participate in a collaborative art project envisioning the future of Gaza with hope and love.
