Tuesday, March 25: Research Finance

An interactive session that aims to enhance your understanding of research finance management in Sparkrock. This is a great opportunity for you to engage directly with King's Sparkrock expert, who will be available to answer your questions.

During the session, we will cover best practices for submitting and managing reimbursement requests, handling research assistant contracts, and effectively monitoring expenditures. We will also discuss common challenges you may face and share effective solutions to overcome them.

Wednesday, March 26Student-Faculty research Collaborations

An insightful session on the significance of student-faculty collaborations in field research and the positive impact these partnerships have on student learning and experience.

During this session, the presenters will share insights from four research projects that were designed to address leadership needs and enhance training for the partner organizations. The focus of these projects included exploring leaders' coping strategies during the pandemic, providing online resilience training for directors, facilitating reflective training for managers, and offering group supervision training for team leads.

Laura Brunskill, a King's alumni who played a vital role as the primary research assistant in all of the projects, will present an overview of their research experience, noting strengths, challenges, and lessons learned, and how this experience has shaped their ongoing learning and development.
