Race, Curation and Community Leadership

The Write Place is proud to present a talk hosted by Pastor Sandie Thomas, the founder of the W.E.A.N Community Centre and an ardent community leader in London, Ontario. During this online event, Pastor Thomas will discuss the trials and triumphs she has experienced curating the London Black Community Library (the city's first Black library).

On top of leading the Spiritual Blessings Lighthouse Ministries congregation and W.E.A.N., Pastor Thomas sits on over 10 boards in Ontario, including the London Catholic District School Board and Western's Office of Equity, Diversity and Inclusion.
