Join us to hear from Tais Oliveira da Silva of Federal University of Juiz de Fora, Brazil, about End-of-Life Experiences and their Impact on the Dying Process: Implications for the Mind-Brain Relationship.
This lecture will present the preliminary results of her PhD research about the end-of-life experiences (ELEs) of dying Brazilian patients and discuss some of their implications for the mind-brain relationship.
Tais Oliveira da Silva is a PhD candidate in Psychology at the Federal University of Juiz de Fora, with expertise in family health, public health, and psychotherapy. She is currently on an international exchange with Niagara University and Hospice Palliative Care Buffalo, USA. She is interested in the relationships between psychology and holistic and comprehensive health care.
