King's Library Author Series with Dr. ABC
Join Dr. Andrew B. Campbell (Dr. ABC) on a journey as he shares his honest reflections which have shaped him into the leader in anti-discrimination education, advocate, and motivational speaker. These spoonful’s, or life lessons, have taught him how to navigate being a Black, gay, and Caribbean man in a predominately White, cisgender space living in Toronto, and have made him into the whole person you see today. Join Dr. ABC on this journey as he reads from his book, Teachable Moments with Dr. ABC: A Spoonful for the Journey. Come for a spoonful and your cup will overflow.
Registration is required.
This is a hybrid event; you can join us in person in the Kenny Theatre or on Zoom.
About the Author Series:
The Author Series invites equity-denied authors to share their knowledge, passion, and ideas as contributions to our community and the literary and academic world. Our hope is to provide a space for intriguing dialogue while celebrating literary excellence.
The Author Series is a collaborative effort between the King's Library, the Office of Equity, Diversity, Inclusion, and Decolonization (EDID), The Write Place, and the King's University College Students' Council (KUCSC).
