King's Community Garden Spring Planting Day

All interested members of the King’s community are invited to come celebrate the end of finals with a day of restorative outdoor work helping grow the King’s Community Garden! 

Please come for as long or short as you wish. No gardening experience necessary.

The Community Garden is behind the King’s International House at 238 University Crescent. 

Tasks:  

  • Assemble a new shed and greenhouse  
  • Dismantle one old bed and transfer soil 
  • Turn over soil and plant cold friendly herbs and pollinators 
  • Clean up existing beds and plant vegetable starts and seeds 
  • Rope off blueberries 
  • Add support to raspberry bushes
