Farewell For Father Michael Bechard

As much as we wish to have a normal gathering to honour Father Michael Bechard for his over 20 years of ministry to our parish community, we are holding an event to mark this occasion while complying with public health regulations. This will take the form of a drive-thru celebration at Windermere on the Mount parking lot on the afternoon of Sunday, June 27. Those without vehicles are most welcome to take part too. We hope that as many people as possible from our community will be able to come and offer thanks and well wishes to Father Michael.

INSTRUCTIONS:

1. Whether or not you are coming by car, we ask that you please sign up for a time slot for your visit. Whether you are one person or a group of people, all you need is ONE sign-up per GROUP (ie. no need to sign up for individuals in the group). This will help with minimizing congestion and hopefully wait times.

2. If you are coming by car, please do your best to arrive close to the beginning of your time slot. Enter at the WINDERMERE ROAD driveway and follow the directions of the volunteers. You will be directed along a specified route (see map below) toward Father Michael. We kindly ask that you remain in your vehicle; please do not park and exit your vehicle.

3. If you are not coming by car, please arrive during the time period you signed up for and go to the seated (socially-distant) waiting area beside the tent (see map below); you will be called up when it is your turn to meet with Father Michael.
