Elliot Cooper - Technology, Community and Identity

On March 12th at 2:30 PM, Elliot K. Cooper-- a writer, visual artist, and activist currently working on his Masters of Library & Information Science (MLIS) at Western -- will be delivering a talk entitled "Technology, Community and Identity". Conversing with The Write Place's own Abhimanyu Acharya, Cooper will draw upon his experiences as an autistic trans man to discuss his recently completed young-adult novel (from which he will read), his art, and the virtues (and shortcomings) of online communication with regard to the formation of identity.
