Conversations with a World-Class Theologian: Your Questions Answered!

It's not every day that you get a chance to meet a truly world-class theologian. Dr. Peter Phan is University Professor at Georgetown University and initial holder of the Ignacio Ellacuria Chair of Catholic Social Thought, Washington D.C. He is one of the most prominent theologians in the world today. During a long and fruitful career that continues to this day, he has become a world authority on a wide range of fields, among which are the following:

  • Theology and Religious Studies (all aspects)
  • Social Justice and Religion /  Liberation Theology
  • Immigration and Religion
  • Interreligious Relations / Ecumenism
  • Global Christianity / Asian Christianity
  • The Vatican and Its Relations with Theologians
  • Popular Piety
  • Religion/Theology related with Philosophy

We invite everyone, especially our faculty and students interested in the above fields, to come with your questions and hear Dr. Phan share his thoughts on the important roles of religion in our globalized world today.

We also invite you to attend the Annual Christ the King Lecture where Dr. Phan will speak on the theme, “Is the Christian God a Migrant?”
