Questionnaires give students a chance to make an impact at King's
March 22, 2023
King’s students will have an opportunity to voice their opinions as part of the Winter Term Student Questionnaires on Courses and Teaching (SQCT), which runs from March 22 – April 12, 2023. By providing their feedback, students will be able to positively affect King’s going forward.
Students who complete at least one SQCT using the Your Feedback system between March 22 – April 12, 2023, will be entered into a random prize draw for one of ten $250 gift cards from The Book Store at Western. Each questionnaire completed during the three-week feedback period will count as one entry into the draw.
Student responses to the SQCT are vital in impacting course development and program design for the upcoming academic year at King’s. The results of the survey will be used to assist departments and schools with course planning. Meanwhile, because results are available to students, they will be able to use the information for course selection.
Students should check their inbox for an email from Western University, containing a link to the online survey. The survey will focus on each of their courses and instructors’ teaching. Because the surveys are anonymized by Western, the instructor will be unable to associate the feedback with individual students.
The survey consists of 15 questions including four demographic questions and 11 scaled questions. Two comment boxes will also be provided to allow for written comments from students.
Faculty will give students 15 minutes at the beginning of each class for students to respond on their devices. The survey can be completed on any device, on or off campus. It should take between three to five minutes to complete the questionnaires.
