Principal-elect greets King's community

King’s Principal-elect, Dr. David C. Malloy, met with the King’s community in the Darryl J. King Student Life Centre (SLC) on April 8, 2019.

"It's really wonderful that you took the time to come out and meet me," said Dr. Malloy said to the members of the King's community, including students, staff and faculty, in attendance.

“I’m absolutely humbled by the excitement I feel in the room,” Dr. Malloy said. He stated he was ready to “hit the ground running,” when he assumes the role of Principal of King’s officially on July 1, 2019.

“I want to thank the Board of Governors for your faith in me,” Dr. Malloy said. “I’m thrilled to be here and can’t wait to meet all of you. This is absolutely the right place for me." 

Dr. Malloy said he would be a champion for Liberal Arts. "There's never been a more important time for Liberal Arts," he said, adding he would discuss how Liberal Arts intersects with business and government with the greater London community.
