KUCSC announces 2012 concert

Cosmic Gate, the German trance duo made up of Claus Terhoeven and Stefan Bossems, will be performing their new album Wake Your Mind at the Wave on Thursday, November 15th, 2012. Tickets will go on sale October 10th at the King’s Connection for $20.00. Additional $20.00 tickets will be sold at Western Connection and available for online purchasing, these tickets will be subjected to taxing and processing fees. There will be a limited number of only 500 tickets to be sold and are anticipated to sell out by November.
“The production is going to be over-the-top,” Brianna Newman, VP Events, revealed in an interview after the 10 a.m. concert release this morning. “KUCSC is working tirelessly to ensure the setup is paramount to a Calvin Harris performance. She wants to see a field of lights, lasers, video screens and the highest quality of sound.”
Cosmic Gate is most well known for their song Be Your Sound accompanied with Emma Hewitt. They have recently been featured at the 2012 VELD music festival in Toronto, performing in front of over three thousand people.
Doors for Cosmic Gate will open at 9 p.m. and go until 2 a.m.. Students must be 19+ to attend this event. KUCSC is expected to announce the opening act for Cosmic Gate in the next couple of weeks.
