King's welcomes new Director of Information Technology Services
October 20, 2022
King’s is pleased to welcome Dominique Perreault to King’s as our new Director of Information Technology Services (ITS). He was chosen after an extensive search and will begin in his new role on December 1, 2022. Perreault brings 18 years of ITS management experience at Western to the role.
“I am thrilled to be joining the King’s team, and truly humbled for this opportunity. It will be my honour to follow in the path of those who came before and continue to advance King’s quality and exceptional reputation. My personal vision is ‘to be of service to those around me, lead with inspiration, and influence significant, impactful changes for the improvement of society,’ much of which I see reflected in King’s own mission, vision, and values. I look forward to meeting each of you and collaborating on the strategic initiatives of King’s University College,” says Perreault.
He comes to King's after being the Manager of Information Security at Western since 2019. Prior to that, Perreault was the Manager of Network/Server Operations at Western from 2004-2019. He also has experience in Network Operations Administration at Research in Motion and as a Network Administrator and Instructor at CDI College. He is a graduate of the University of Fredericton, Western University and CDI College.
“Dominique’s personal vision of impactful societal change and focus on servant leadership matches well with King’s mission and values. Additionally, his skills and experience gained as an instructor, Manager of Network and Server Operations, and Manager of Information Security at Western will augment the skills of our existing team members well. I look forward to working with Dominique in this pivotal role as we build on the strong ITS foundation in place,” says Jeff Major, Vice-President, Finance and Support Services.
Perreault succeeds Tom Jory, ’87, in the Director role at King’s. Jory retired this past spring.
Welcome to King’s, Dominique. We are happy to have you join us.
