King's revokes vaccination policy, masking to remain in place
November 29, 2022
A message from Dr. David Malloy, King's President:
As you have heard from Western University today, based on the latest consultation with their medical experts and local public health, Western University is revoking its vaccination policy and will no longer require students, employees and visitors to be vaccinated to come to campus.
Likewise, as we share the same wider campus and consultation process, King’s University College is also revoking its COVID-19 vaccination policy. This means that we no longer require students, employees and visitors to be vaccinated to come to King's campus. Vaccination is also no longer required for those living in King's residence.
I want to thank everyone who has remained dedicated to keeping our campus operational, in-person, this fall term. To that end, we will continue to require masks to be worn in instructional spaces when classes resume in January 2023. Masks are available across campus including Central Services, The King’s Connection, the Cardinal Carter Library and Enrolment Services.
As always, monitor yourself for symptoms, protect yourself and others by staying home when you are sick and reach out for assistance if you need help. Health and wellness resources for students and employees can be found on our website. If you have further questions, please visit our COVID-19 FAQ page.
