King's Alumni enjoy the chance to network and nosh at Bertoldi's
April 2, 2013
The King’s Alumni Association continually provides opportunities for chapter members across Ontario to unite for social and educational events. In March, a luncheon was held at Bertoldi’s restaurant which drew alumni from a wide variety of classes dating back to the 1960’s along with several new alumni who have recently made their way into the working world.
Guests enjoyed the Italian cuisine and the opportunity to connect, network and brainstorm new ways for King’s alumni to meet in the future. Plans are now under way to establish a mentoring/support system linking alumni, young alumni and soon-to-be graduates in partnership with Career Services at King’s. The group is also exploring new ways to communicate with members and is working towards the goal of linking employers with King’s students and new grads.
King’s alumni will gather next for a coffee tasting event on April 13 at Fire Roasted Coffee in the Western Fair Farmer’s Market. Excitement is already building for Homecoming this September when alumni will be on hand to officially open the new Darryl J. King Student Life Centre.
Stay connected with the alumni association for more information on the upcoming annual Stratford Theatre trip on and the King’s Golf Classic. It is an exciting time to become involved with the King’s alumni community.
