King's alumna hits best-seller list

Congratulations to King’s alumna, Heather Marshall, BA '10 History and Political Science, who is now a bestselling author of Looking for Jane. Marshall’s debut novel, was released on March 1, 2022 and has received media attention:
- TVO – The Agenda with Steve Paikin: How Pregnancy Shaped Generations of Women
- The Globe and Mail Review – Timely and engaging Looking for Jane deals sensitively with harrowing topics

- Chatelaine – 5 Enthralling New Books by Canadian Women
- Toronto Star – Time goes on, but the problem remains written by King’s alumna Janet Somerville, ’89 BA English – currently only available in the print edition

King’s Communications department is currently in the process of writing a web story, talking with Marshall about how her King’s education influenced the writing of Looking for Jane. More about Marshall and her new book will be posted on our website when the story is completed.
