Over the last week, King’s has played co-host to a group of visiting Russian high school students as part of an Experience University Week. The program, developed in partnership with the Avon Maitland and Lambton Kent School Boards, gives students a first-hand look at life in Canada, London and King’s.

Their week has been packed with activities including a number of information sessions designed to give helpful tips and insight into university life. They were also given a look at life in London with shopping, Laser tag and planned excursions to Delaware Speedway and East Park.

“Many members of the King’s Community are participating in the program and insuring a warm welcome for these students,” says Marilyn Mason, King’s registrar.  “Working with our colleagues, we hope to bring more international student groups to King’s. It is great to have the students here!”
