January 13, 2017
On Wednesday, January 13, 2017, King’s was pleased to welcome 32 students and instructors from Kangnam University. The students and staff stayed in residence at King’s during their four week stay for English as a Second Language (ESL) instruction and cultural experiential learning. The students will tour London and the surrounding areas, visiting Boler Mountain for tubing, Budweiser Gardens for a London Lightning and London Knights game, City Hall for a meet and greet with Mayor Matt Brown, and much more. The group will also enjoy two excursions outside of the London area to Niagara Falls and St. Jacobs.
Aside from cultural learning, students will also have the opportunity to work with instructors from Fanshawe College who will be teaching and facilitating ESL to the students.
Kangnam University is a private Christian school located in Yongin, South Korea. King’s has a strong international partnership with Kangnam.
