Social Work attends Housing First Training

A group of 13 social work master's students and Dr. Dora Tam in the Groups and Communities Practice course attended the Housing First Training on October 17, 2014. This group was jointed by former King's social work graduates, part-time Professor Trevor Johnson from the School of Social Work at King's, and other 200 local social service provides to discuss social concern on homelessness in London and provide feedback to the federal initiative to assist local development and implementation of Housing First as an evidenced based model to address, reduce and prevent homelessness.This training is brought together by the City of London and the Mental Health Commission.
