Dr. Yenson’s record of academic leadership and service includes his current role as Associate Academic Dean, whose responsibilities include providing advice and support in the planning, development, and implementation of educational policies.

“(Dr. Yenson's) experience, expertise, and commitment to King’s academic mission have been an invaluable source of support to the VPAD’s office and to King’s. Dr. Yenson enjoys excellent working relationships across the College and at Western, which will help to ensure stability and continuity of operations in critical academic and educational priorities,” says Dr. Robert Ventresca, Interim President.
Dr. Yenson joined King’s in 2010 as a faculty member in Religious Studies, teaching and developing courses in the Catholic Studies program. His research specialization and publications are in historical and systematic theology. Dr. Yenson served as Chair of the Religious Studies Department prior to becoming Associate Academic Dean.

The Board will consult with members of the Academic Council in September on the Board’s policy on selection processes for executive appointments.
Dr. Ventresca asks the entire King’s community to join him in welcoming Dr. Yenson to this new role, and in supporting Dr. Yenson to advance the work of the university and the people we serve.
Congratulations, Dr. Yenson!
