BMOS students heads to Ivey MSc with $5000

Linda Chen, fourth-year Management and Organizational Studies student at King’s received a $5000 entrance scholarship towards a Master’s of Science in Management at Ivey Business School.
Chen was not only accepted into the competitive program, but she also earned theentrance scholarship based on her strong academic achievements during her undergraduate degree at King’s.
She has just completed her BMOS studies and she is graduating with a Specialization) in Global Commerce with a minor in Political Science. Starting in January 2018, she will be pursuing an MSc degree in International Business with the CEMSexchange option at Ivey Business School.
“When I received the scholarship, I was a little surprised and very excited. I shared the news with my parents immediately,” says Chen. She was born in Guangzhou, China and came to King’s from Vancouver.
“I spent my first and second year at Western and transferring to King's was the best decision that I made in university. I think King's helped me a lot because King's really cares about its students. King's is small but is a very united community. You can feel that in the library, in the Student Life Centre, and in the classroom,” says Chen.
