  • 9:00 a.m. - Find The Toques – We have hidden 20 Bell Let’s Talk toques around wellness centres on the King’s campus.
  • 9:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. - Photo/Information Booth in the Student Life Centre with a toque giveaway and a wellness table for staff/faculty.
  • Noon - 3:00 p.m.The flag football game scheduled for 1:00 p.m. has been cancelled due to cold conditions. Join us in KC119 from 12:00 pm - 3:00 pm for board games and other fun activities.

The day’s events have been organized on King’s campus by Leo Aul, Jessica Ann Lin, Klevis Mazreku, and Chantal Quagliara, interns from Fanshawe and Western Continuing Studies in the Communications Department.

While engaging in these activities, members of the King’s community are asked to use the hashtag #BellLetsTalk, #KingsCares, #aplacetobe and #FindtheToques as they follow along on Instagram, Twitter and Facebook.

“As King’s is dedicated to educating the whole-person, Bell Let’s Talk Day provides a forum to remind us of the role we all play in supporting mental health and wellness on campus and in our community,” Joe Henry, Dean of Students, says.

Mental health and wellness involves finding a balance in all aspects of life, including physically, mentally, emotionally, and spiritually. King's is committed to supporting all students, staff, and faculty in reaching their highest potential, and that includes providing a multitude of wellness resources available on campus.

On Bell Let’s Talk Day on January 30, Bell will donate five cents for every applicable text message, call, tweet, social media view and the use of their Facebook frame or Snapchat filter toward mental health initiatives.
