A message from Dr. Malloy:

I am reaching out to you today with the news that our March Open House has been postponed. This decision was made jointly by all post-secondary institutions in London. I know that this is disappointing news to many as it is such an important day for King’s to welcome future students.

We had more than 500 people registered for the Open House and that number was growing thanks to the great work of our enrolment services team.

Bringing onto campus a large group of people from outside of our community creates a scenario that we believe is not in the best interest of our visitors and campus.

We made this decision in consultation with Western, Brescia, Huron, and Fanshawe College to ensure the health and safety of our visitors and campus community. That is our top priority.

King’s next scheduled Open House is May 2nd.

In the meantime, our communications and IT team has created a virtual tour of King’s campus that will be available by this weekend. Check the Future Students website.

Thank you to those students who have submitted feedback via our website feedback form. Some of you have asked if we will switch to online delivery or cancel classes. At this time, we are exploring options.

However, our classes continue to operate as does our library, residences and buildings. That is because London remains at a low risk for COVID-19. Our working group is continuing to meet daily.

Take care of yourself. Take care of this place and take care of each other.
