The continuance of fighting against Islamophobia and racism.

Islamophobia can be defined as having hatred or dread of Islam and therefore, the fear or dislike of all or most Muslims.
The Muslim community in London and across the country will be watching this trial closely as there will be much public discussion through the media. This information can be heavy and disturbing. Creating a safer environment is crucial for our Muslim peers as they navigate returning to school environments in this challenging time.
As allies of our Muslim brothers and sisters, we can continue to learn more about Islam, about Muslim-majority countries, and about Islamophobia. As an ally, we can ask questions to our Muslim friends or the local Mosque on how we can show support during difficult times. Lastly, be sure to take the time to understand and challenge your own biases and prejudice.
