Join us for Bridging Week from Wednesday, August 27 to Sunday, August 31, 2025

Bridging Week is a welcoming and informative transition program designed for international students and newcomers to Canada who are beginning their studies at King’s University College. The week includes a combination of academic orientation, practical workshops, and fun social activities to help you settle in and build connections before classes begin.

This program is mandatory for all exchange and 2+2 program participants and strongly recommended for new international degree students, including those who have completed high school in Canada. If you’re new to the Canadian university system, to London, Ontario, or to King’s, this program is a great way to get a head start.

Bridging Week will help you:

  • Get familiar with King’s, Western University, and the city of London

  • Learn about academic expectations and campus life

  • Understand supports available to you throughout your time at King’s

  • Make new friends and build your community

The program costs $600 CAD, which includes early residence move-in, accommodation, meals, workshops, local transportation, and excursions.

If you require transportation from Toronto Pearson International Airport to King’s, we can arrange it for a $140 CAD fee.

Early move-in for Bridging participants is available on Monday, August 25 and Tuesday, August 26 between 9:00 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. Students not participating in Bridging Week cannot move in before Sunday, August 31.
